Welcome to the IGC 2028 Submission Portal for Sessions, Workshops, and Short Courses

The 38th International Geological Congress invites you to submit proposals for Sessions, Workshops, and Short Courses. 

Proposal Submission Deadline: March 2027

Submission Categories:

• Session - Please submit sessions under a Theme Group. A pop-up menu will appear with Themes for you to pick under the Theme Group.
• Workshop - An interactive and hands-on educational session or training program focused on a specific topic, usually lasting 1 day. Workshops should be submitted under a related theme group.
• Short Course - A learning program to explore specific knowledge areas and teach associated skills in a short time-frame, usually 1-3 days. Short Courses should be submitted under a related theme group.
