PLEASE NOTE: This workshop has limited capacity and booking link was distributed to students registered for XChange 2021. This workshop is aimed at PhD students and Early Career Researchers who are interested in following a research pathway (postdoctoral, fellow, research officer etc.). During the workshop, we will hear from senior academics about their expectations of staff and experiences with managing research staff. In addition, you will hear from mid- and early-career researchers about their experiences across the research journey post PhD. During the workshop, participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any aspect of the research pathway with the presenters. In small break-out rooms, attendees will be able develop their own ideas on how to manage the move from PhD to research staff.
