Brainstorming session
• There will be a brief presentation by Saima Hasnin about the recently conducted systematic review and meta-analysis findings. (15 minutes)
• Following the presentation, the attendees will be asked about their experiences and ongoing efforts relevant to PSE interventions. (15 minutes)
• The following 3 questions will be presented to the attendees for an open discussion. Each question will be discussed for 10 minutes.
o How feasible is the I+PSE framework to formulate and disseminate interventions for the ECE settings?
o How can we successfully incorporate the I+PSE framework to childhood obesity preventions in ECE settings? Which components of the framework will be the hardest to implement?
o What are some challenges associated with collecting maintenance/ sustainability data evaluating interventions ECE and what are the possible solutions?
• Responses will be noted down and/or voice recorded based on IRB approval and participants’ willingness to be recorded.
• Attendees will be invited to join a collaborative effort to write a commentary on the session topic.
