NOTE: Details about each committee and their responsibilities are outlined at the bottom of this form for your reference.

The following committees are open for participation and are essential to making the conference a success :

• Scientific Conference Content Committee (SCCC) - The mandate of the SCCC, a partnership between CRBOH and IOHA, is to establish and verify that the technical content of IOHA2027 is well-balanced, timely, and of the highest quality.  The SCCC will review abstract submissions for program content and will build out the final scientific program with the support of the COC. 

  Please note that the SCCC has now reached its full membership. Thank you to everyone who submitted their names.

• Local and Social Planning Committee (L&SPC) – The L&SPC will work with our third-party consultant and the COC to make recommendations on venues for social events, content for technical field trips and speaker gift options; confirms accuracy of specific local information; ensures local flair is incorporated as needed; and provides local “feet on the ground” input to the COC.
• Exhibitor & Sponsorship Committee (E&SC) – Will work with the marketing team of our third-party consultant to ensure the correct organizations are contacted to direct them to the exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities via the conference online portal.  The E&SC will also reconnect with those amazing organizations that have already provided letters of support during the conference proposal stage.
• Volunteer Committee (VC) – Oversees the process of recruiting volunteers locally with universities, job boards, etc. and works with our third-party consultant to coordinate on-site volunteer responsibilities (i.e., moderators, registration booth, etc.)
