The #ISBNPAXChange Initiative will launch on June 1st with the release of pre-recorded presentations of accepted 2020 abstracts. Live sessions will run from June 15th to June 25th 2020, 9pm to 11pm (CEST). Within this period, we are planning to have two live keynote speakers, nine live symposia webinars, nine live questions and answers (Q&A) sessions of 10-15 pre-recorded oral presentations, offline Q&A, discussion boards, and an array of social engagement activities.
Why are we so excited about the ISBNPA XChange Initiative?
Research on behavioral nutrition and physical activity is in “fast-forward” mode. We selected more than 1000 abstracts for ISBNPA 2020. But, if these works aren’t presented, only the authors and the abstracts committee would know about the excellent research you are all doing. This wealth of knowledge deserves to be showcased and discussed with the ISBNPA community; reading the 300 words in the abstract book will not do justice to your work. As a result, ISBNPA’s Executive Committee has decided to invest heavily in the ISBNPA XChange: a platform offering the best solution available to showcase, discover, network, and #dare2share your research with the ISBNPA community.
A new scientific program vision: Concentrated and extended activities?
After consulting with you, the ISBNPA Fellows and benchmarking against other solutions, the ISBNPA XChange platform will offer:
- A concentrated period of activities – from June 15-25
- An extended period of activities – June 26 until the end of the year
Overcoming physical distance? Networking and social activities
There is going to be an e-blast soon about this. For now, we are welcoming your suggestions (contact us).

A message from the ISBNPA XChange Organizing Committee Chair
Dear ISBNPA colleagues,Some days ago, you received a message informing that the registration to the ISBNPA XChange Initiative had already opened. The Organizing Committee is excited to offer this excellent opportunity to exchange our research studies and novel ideas, share experiences and have a great time.
Since we are an international society, including members from around the globe, we have organized a program with live sessions running from June 15th to June 25th, 2020, starting from 8 pm until 10 pm (GMT). Within this period, we are planning to have two live keynote speakers, nine live symposia webinars, nine live questions and answers (Q&A) sessions of 10-15 pre-recorded presentations, offline Q&A sessions, discussion boards, and plenty of social engagement activities.
Our society has nine active Special Interest Group (SIG). The symposia and presentations will be organized around the SIG topics. However, we encourage SIGs and registered attendees to organize other workshops, webinars, and spontaneous offline Q&A sessions using the platform before or after the program. We are looking forward to welcoming you soon!
