In honour of the tremendous contributions Nancy has made to the NP community over the years, NNPBC, NP Council and the NP Provincial Initiatives Practice Support Program (PSP) will be hosting this 2-day virtual event in Nancy's name. Nancy was an educator and mentor to many of us and in commemoration, NNPBC will be sponsoring seats for 5 NP student participants* for this virtual event.
These two days will be sure to provide you with evidence-based
educational sessions, skill building opportunities and learning on a variety of
topics. There will also be plenty of time to network with friends, colleagues,
and the NP community at large.
We are in unprecedented times and recognize that practitioners are
feeling the need to connect. We have designed these two days to give NPs an
opportunity to reconnect with each other, with vendors and with the broader
health community.
Key highlights of the Nancy Wright Virtual Learning Series:
To provide a chance to connect with the Council around all of the advocacy and work that has been happening over this past year, there will be an open NP Council meeting at the end of Day 2. This is also an opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about the work of the Council moving forward into 2021.
We are looking forward to connecting with everyone and raising a glass to Nancy. “You could not know Nancy and not want to become more!”
(Quote from a close friend).
*To be considered, NP students must email NNPBC's PSP team at nppracticesupport@nnpbc.com and in 100 words or less, let us know what inspired you to become an NP.
