Visa Invitation Letter

Please indicate whether you require an invitation letter to support your visa application to enter Canada. To receive an invitation letter, you must first pay your registration fees in full. It may take up to five (5) business days after receipt of payment for the letter to be emailed to you. A visa invitation letter is not needed if you only require an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter Canada. If you are unsure, please consult the website of Immigration Canada.

Indigenous Geothermal Symposium 2026 (Calgary)

Please note:

The Symposium is organized by Geothermal Rising and requires separate registration from WGC2026.
A direct link will be provided in your Congress confirmation email and on the official WGC2026 website.

 

Symposium Objectives:

  • Engagement: Bring together Indigenous leaders, geothermal experts, policymakers, and community members to discuss the development and implementation of geothermal energy projects.
  • Education: Provide comprehensive sessions on geothermal energy, including its technological, cultural, and historical aspects.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate cross-cultural dialogues and partnerships to enhance the role of Indigenous communities in the geothermal energy sector.

The symposium will feature a series of sessions designed to explore the cultural, technological, and environmental aspects of geothermal energy. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the latest advancements in geothermal technology, share their experiences and insights, and collaborate on developing strategies that respect and incorporate Indigenous perspectives.

This event aims to create a platform for Indigenous voices to be heard, fostering a global dialogue on the potential and challenges of geothermal energy development in Indigenous territories.
